His passion for theological education led him to attend the Federal College of Education (Special) in Oyo, securing an Associate's Degree in Special Education. This was followed by a bachelor's degree in religious studies from the University of Ibadan. His theological pursuits took him to the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary in Ogbomoso, and later, the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, USA. With a rich academic backdrop, Rev. Dr. Kayode Opadeji also holds certifications from the International Fellowship of Chaplains and has been an active member since February 2019. An avid traveler, Rev. Dr. Kayode Opadeji has visited Israel multiple times, leading worshipers in both worship and sightseeing.
Florence Opadeji, a beacon of strength alongside her husband, is an academician with a profound interest in museum studies. She began her education in Nigeria, obtaining degrees from the University of Ilorin and Obafemi Awolowo University. Her fascination with cultural preservation led her to pursue a Post-Graduate Diploma in Museology in Jos, Nigeria, and later, a Master's Degree in Museum Studies from Morgan State University, Baltimore. Several of her works have been published in Nigerian newspapers and magazines, showcasing her expertise in indigenous cultural studies. In 2015, she felt the divine calling into pastoral ministry and embarked on her theological journey at Baptist College of Theology Lagos. Her role in the ministry is pivotal, especially in guiding young believers and leading spiritual programs for young adults.
Their blessed union has resulted in four God-fearing children: Victor, Godsfavour, Godsglory, and Godsfaithful. Together, the couple shares a deep commitment to their faith and congregation, ensuring that all may know Christ and make Christ known. They remain pillars of support for each other, both in their family life and their sacred duty to their congregation. Their shared mission reflects their heartfelt aspiration: that individuals from every background embrace God's boundless love in Christ and become ambassadors of this love worldwide. To this, we resoundingly say, 'God be praised! Amen."
